Even as the days cool, we’ve been bustling around the farm completing assorted seasonal tasks. Gardens have been cleared, and our chestnut trees have been mulched. Our hopyard trellising has been fixed and tightened. Lambs were brought to the market in late October, and our new ram Korbel has been running with 15 ewes for breeding season!
One of the most delightful parts of all this work is seeing the fruits of our labor and being able to share them with others. In fact, one of our favorite projects last month included expanding our farm store!
