Our historic barn went through a large restoration to help breathe more life into this beautiful building for years to come. The restoration design focused on maintaining as many original pieces as possible, while (literally) elevating the barn to serve a multi-functional gathering space for visitors.
Historic preservation and restoration
Restoration of the main barn began.
The entire barn was lifted 22 inches to create more headroom for the first floor library and office space.
Foundations for our additions including a fully accessible entrance, elevator shaft and our demonstration kitchen and dining area were poured.
The newly restored barn provides multiple spaces available to rent for special events and workshops including a state-of-the-art demonstration kitchen, library and second story expansive loft.
New windows were added to all sides of the second level of the barn, and a section of the floor was removed to create our atrium.
New siding was added in the original red color of the barn.
Electrical and HVAC installed, driveway construction began.
